Listhani AnnouncmentA new race has emerged from Quaranteen in the last week. The Greater Galaxy welcomes the Listhani Continuum from its cradle. First Contact with the Listhani was made by Tarantula 10 Romeo 5 Beta of the Spider Queen Theocracy. The Listhani were instructed to contact The Council of Eight in the city of Bain're on the world of Arach'Tuine, which we are told they attempted. First Contact negotiations have yet to begin. The appearance of this race is very good news for local Minor Empires, given the increased K'tani agression. It remains to be seen if it was wise for the Listhani; they could be seen as just another target by the K'tani. IGNM bids welcome and good luck to the Listhani Continuum. They will need all the luck that they can get in the near future.
So'kora PurchasedAn unknown buyer has just purchased the So'kora of Valcat. The Sun-stone is said to have once been one of the eyes of the Garudis-kan. It was aquired by the Archean Interstellar Museum of Art when it was discovered among the hoard of a Hunn pirate vessel two years ago. The museum has had little use for the gem since then as it has not been worked in any way that would make it a true piece of art. The mysterious buyer paid 100 000 omnium for the So'kora and it is unknown what the being intends to do with it.
War with K'tanThe leaders of the AiD Pact met recently. The overwhelming consensus among the leaders was that the K'tan Empire's recent leases of Diora Lock and J'uDDa Sovreignty pose a significant security threat to the Tri-Sector area. The threat is increased by the K'tan's new Jumpgate at Diora Lock. Steps were taken to strengthen the AiD Pact's position. Full memberships were offered and accepted by the Commonwealth of Independant Interstellar States, the Confederation of Democratic Worlds, and the Triton Protectorate of Archaen. The Selsthian Protectorate of the SQT has ordered all diplomatic envoys on the Ring Complex evacuated in light of the obvious threat. Back to Netcasts |
