Dangerous Trade


The Listhani Continuum reports that it has been attacked within its own territory by a K'tan Deepscout. The Deepscout attacked and destroyed the escort of an SQT trade mission to Station Prime. The cargo vessels escaped, but the escorts were destroyed by the blast when the Deepscout self-destructed.

The SQT confirms this report, adding that this was the first trade mission that the dr'owe have made to Station Prime. Clan Spider's Fang was the trade clan leading the mission and it has sustained casualties of three Black Widow warships and unconfirmed numbers of Stealth Spiders in the brief battle

Crossed Messages


K'tan embassador K'Ladan made statements today that the Deepscout destroyed at Station Prime was part of the captured 21st Fleet. He supposed that the vessel was being used by the nefarious Razgats.

K'Ladan promised to hunt down and destroy the Razgat pirates wherever they hide. It is to this end that the K'tan 12th Expeditionary Fleet has been deployed to the Tri-Sector area. The K'tan promise to attack the Razgat in any empire, and those not allowing the 12th X into their territory will be considered in league with the Razgats and suffer the same fate.

Shortly after the broadcast of the K'tan statement, a counter-statement was issued by the SQT. Matron Invidia Del'Sein, Holder of the Second Seat, refuted nearly all of the K'tan postulations with sound logic. Several of her rebukes poked serious holes in the K'tan cover story.

The Omnet and the SQT may not always see eye-to-eyes, but we wish them luck and remind caution in any dealing with the K'tan Empire.
